Baked Fish

Servings: 2-4

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 fish filets (preferably wild caught)

    • salmon, tilapia, halibut, cod, snapper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • 1 lemon

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F

  • Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive or avocado oil

  • Pat fish dry with paper towels and arrange on baking sheet 

  • Season with salt and pepper

  • In a bowl stir together the olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, and juice of ½ the lemon and rub on fish evenly

  • Thinly slice the remaining ½ lemon and place on top of each filet

  • Bake for 12-15 min until fish is flaky when pulled apart with a fork
